A transition into motherhood can be a vulnerable time in a woman’s life. It is not uncommon for moms to love their child and yet deeply struggle through this transition. This time can be particularly challenging for women with ADHD and for parents with a young child who might be at risk for ADHD. Yet proudly the Parent-Child Bond is the FIRST to offer these specialized services. As a licensed clinical mental health therapist since 2010, I primarily come from an EMDR, attachment, and birth psychology lens. I consider myself an intuitive and highly sensitive-empathic clinician who values learning from other disciplines such as: speech, occupational, physical, craniosacral therapy, nutrition, the role of biological factors (sleep, hormones, immune systems and join pain). My approach is customized yet tangible and action oriented. This means after each session you will receive a follow up email from me that provides bite sized steps with a goal, we identified together that you can implement immediately.
